In 2002, Dozier was convicted of murdering and dismembering a man in Las Vegas. He was sentenced to death and spent years on death row. Despite his high IQ, Dozier's choices led him down a path of crime and ultimately to his death. His story shows that intelligence alone does not determine one’s destiny or moral compass.

Scott Dozier's IQ of 135 is a notable figure, placing him within the top 1% of the population. However, when compared to Keith Raniere's reported IQ of 240, the difference is stark. Raniere, infamous for his role in NXIVM, claims a score that would rank him among the most intelligent individuals ever tested (let alone criminals!), though his intellect was marred by unethical actions.
